Default Retarted question about TT

I just want some clarification.

The purpose of a Twin turbo setup is so you don't have as long of a wait for the turbo's to spool, but you still have the capability of putting out as much power as a larger single turbo setup?

Yes, but sometimes space and packaging is an issue, as well as cost.

Its probably easier to get two smaller turbos on a c5/c6 then one large single. Ofcourse for a c5 or c6 you use the most expensive turbo you can , cause otherwise it wouldnt be good, from the end users view.

DAMN 1320!!

You must effin love turbo's! look at your damn sig! **** man.

So, what type of system would you recommend for a stock 347, that will in about a year or so be going to a 402, or maybe a 408? Is that too dramatic of a difference in cubes so spooling and total power output will be hurt from that small of an engine to a larger one? In other words will a TT setup work on a 347and also work just as efficiently on a 408?

Single "S" unit from FI would get you going and be good with more cubes. I am thinking truck manifold setup.

This would be the direction I would lean also, without knowing more and guessing at the use and being resonable on the budget side.

Not a kit, we do custom setups in house. KYTP makes a nice manifold kit if you want to tackle the rest your self though. The S unit would be right up your alley.

Now we just need to figure out how much power you want to make.

so u are looking for something to put on stock cubes and keep the same turbo when u upgrade to a 402?i would probably go for something around 80mm maybe one step larger.Although i started with an s85 for my 383 and ended up getting upgraded to a s91!
