Yes it will, but if you plan to flow big air, you don't want a T4 housing.

The fast manual trans guys run an anti-lag to spool it on the line, and usually use a shot of spray to get it out of the hole.

Go put an a3 car on the trans brake and stall it to 3500. Then get in similar powered 6-speed car, rev it to 3500, and let me know which spools quicker.

I agree with a 91 being a lil big for a 346.

I agree its going to be 5K + before she starts to make any power.....

I know high compression works as I have a friend running twin 76"s on a 347ci+ small block with a blow thru alky setup and its almost instant boost. I think the big boys are doing it now. High compression with 16 160lb injectors with 12AN feed lines

Why not downshift to 2nd or 3rd............
Those cars with 7 and 9 sec quarter mile time you just stated have either a 2 step or an anti lag device on the car that retards the timing and sends fuel into the exhaust to explode in the headers and spin the **** out of the turbo at the line. That is why when you hear those cars take off it sound like they are mis-firing when they are not its just the anti-lag system at work

That's cool but not really in line with the scene on here. Are you running alky in your car, how is it?

If you want a small and high flowing turbo around 91mm power, but 88mm spool. We are working with Garrett on a compact GT47/GT55 hybrid. Will be the size of a GT42. The CHRA is already done, we are just working on the housings now. Good choice for about 1400-1500hp.

I saw that the guy with the SOM TA posted on YB that they now have a 106mm turbo in their car, which has a 364ci engine. I wonder how that combo is working.
