Default procharger gurus i braced my plenum, any adverse effects?

as you can see in the pics,

my plastic plenem buckled where the mass air hose attaches. no matter how tight i got the bellows i could just get rid of seeing light around the hose.

what i did whas take a small aluminum tube and crushed it almost flat(thin oval) and propped the plenum into shape. i then took a torch and heated the tube just enough to get the ends to sink into the plastic.

i cant pull it out with decent force and with the bellows and hose clamp on it should lock in even better. my maff is screened so im not really worried about it getting ingested.

my ? if will this have any real negative effects on air delivery? flow?

i plan on getting a metal or custom plenum but the snow is a month away and i just want to get some miles on this new motor before storage.

what do you think?

Polished plenum F.T.W! Should work though, and it won't affect anything, the blower is going to force that air in either way.

looks like it should work fine unless it decides to pop out of there somehow.

I would rethink this solution. It sounds like a kludge and most kludges I know of turn into cluster f*cks.
