Mustang supercharger on a Ls1
I bought a wrecked 98 saleen and parted it out. The previous owner supercharged it with the powerdyne kit. Can I put this on my Z28? I can make my own piping, but is there anything that I am missing that will make this not work? I will be using the bd11 head unit. I imagine that the headunit, clamps, and maybe a little of the piping are going to be the only usable parts.

Your right ls1290, it isn't worth it. Just saying anything can be made ta work. I've not heard anything good about the Powerdyne chargers either. Sell it to a Mustang owner and put the money towards a good charger or other parts.

Well seing that I got the unit for free pretty much, and I don't plan on running crazy boost numbers. I don't want to spend 5 or 6 grand for a vortech or procharger. I wish I could be I'm not that rich like most of the guys on here. I will be there someday. If anyone has any leads on a good used one PM me.

Has anyone put an A&A P1SC kit made for a C5 on a Z28? I just thought it would be better than having the filter so low to the ground. If so I will have one for sale very shortly, might be an option......

+1 to everything said above. You could probably get it to work but I doubt the head unit with be able to push enough air for you to make enough boost for your application. The money and time you will spend fabbing up the rest of the system isnt worth it to install a powerdyne SC.

Maybe you can sell that Powerdyne BD11 Mustang kit for some decent money and put that towards the correct kit for your. See what those kits retail for, and then price accordingly. You should always be able to get 50% of retail up (up to 75% depending on condition, and demand).
