The engine, which was set up by Kurt Urban, does have an LS7 dry sump setup.

Amazing car, I had a chance to look at it the last time I had my car at Speed Inc. Your car is one of the cleanest builds I ever seen. Congrats on the shakedown numbers.

Thanks again....these kind of builds are a long journey to get track numbers.

Fuse box is under the fenderwell in front of the front tire but behind the fender liner for water protection

I used to be EFI Live, but wanted to try BS3. I'm very happy with the way BS3 respnds to tweaks.

Very very nice build! How much does a turbo kit set-up like that run?

Totally depends on the options that you want. Give Jim Moran a call at Speed Inc and he can walk you through the different prices.

Hard to beat a system that keeps the airconditioning and runs 8.9 at 155 on a 80 degree day and +3000ft da......at 19psi.....Speed Inc builds a killer turbo set-up.

That is a killer setup you have there! How much more is left in it? Think its possible to get down in the 8.60 or so range?

Thanks!

But ballpark pricing for a turbo kit like this one is probably $10K +, correct?

For the kit or for the complete setup? I can promise you there is more than $10K in the motor and turbo...ask me how I know

At a sea level track and some cold weather the car would pick up a lot just at the 19psi...just ask ProStockJohn and the other guys that came to Bristol for the GMHightech race....they were 0.50 second slower than the typical IL tracks....

Bristol will NEVER be an internet bragging track....been "slow" since it was built in the 60's....It was just a few years back that NHRA ProStock cars finally ran a 6.9x at Bristol....after running 6's everywhere for a while. Vegas is the same way....Bandimere is worse...some NM tracks are worse also...

And if im not mistaking the only way you can get this kit is if speed inc installs it on your car. They dont build kits and ship them out.

It is not a "kit." It is a custom built setup which requires that your car be at Speed Inc. I'm having my car done there as well (actually I think it was there before Onfire's, but we've been waiting on the motor), with a simillar, but different setup.

If you are interested call them -- they'll build it the way YOU want it.

Thanks...looks like you're rolling out pretty hard yourself. Those GT35's that you're using are my favorite all around turbo...big power and great spool.

After some more tuning, I'm a little quicker now:

the kit that is onfire's car is custom and can be built any way you want it... for example he wanted a/c so it was built around that.... i had them do a twin turbo kit on my car with manifolds and on a budget.....

it runs "ok " i guess
