Update: Since the consensus is the the rings are probably toast, I've been looking around for a short term solution since the LSX Shootout is not far off. I've come across a shortblock that I might be able to use for the race, trying to work out details right now. I hate going to a race like that and just sitting around.

Okay a forced induction shortblock is on the way. Big thanks to Kurt Urban for this 6.0 block based FI engine. Also thanks for Harold Chapman for picking it up for me on his way to the Chicago area. Should have the motor around 10PM tomorrow and will swap it out this week.
