Does Boost Change?? Does boost change from the street to the dyno?? I had the 4" pulley on my car and i dynoed the car with it and only saw 4 pounds of boost. I asked you guys wich pulley to go with to see 8-9 lbs and the 3.2 pulley is what i was told. BlackLS1 T/A mentioned to go with a 36" pulley the closest i could find to that was 36 1/8 by gates. ATI said to go with a 36 1/2. I am only seeing about 6lbs and theres no dust on the pulleys so i dont think im slipping. Its only been on there for a week. How much does traction have to do with it? Shouldnt i be seeing closer to 9lbs?? I only have LT's and a small cam. Thanks for your input.

What is your elevation above sea level?
What do you see immediately... does it make about 4 initially and and peak at 6?
What size tires and gear are you running?
At the end of the day, the best people can do is give you a guestimate... that is why we keep saying NO ONE can tell you exactly how much boost a pulley combination is going to get you. I've got five pullies to attest to that.

Re: Does Boost Change?? supercharger boost I asssssume would not change. Boost from a turbo does as does your A/F as they are dependent on load and the dynojet does not give accurate load...a mustang dyno does.

Im right at sea level right on the coast.
It gradually rises to 6.
Im running 295/35/18s for the street and 245/50/16's Nitto 555r's for the track but i havent put them on since the new pulley. So what size pulley should i go with now?? HA HA I can already see a pile of pulleys adding up. Thanks
