Default Need a BOV

I want to replace my bypass valve with a bov. I want 'cost-effective'. I don't need anything fancy, and I don't want one that will make your ears bleed. What are my options for this, and where can i get one online? I'm at about 12psi now on stock+headers. Thanks.

Apexi Twin Chamber is popular..

Do a search on ebay for "APEXI BOV" They typically sell for just under $200

keep in mind that you want something that you (can get me to) make a mounting plate for.. so it would need to have a bolt-up flange, not a c clip flange like my ssqv.

I did some research a while back about which BOV's whould be a drop in fit for the my ProCharger system. I found that any BOV mad to fit the Mitsu Lancer Evolution will fit. The stock Procharger ProFlo valve is 1.5", the Lancer's BOV is only several mm smaller, but will fit and hold on the rubber hose with the proper clamping

Good info black yukon. I was hoping to find one like this, with just a tube end that I could clamp in the same as the surge valve. Otherwise MIGHTYMOUSE Inc. will get to make a flange.

I have a Vortech Universal Maxflow Racing Bypass Valve and got the flange and used 1.5 inch exhaust pipe and it worked great on my setup. Just capped the blower hat opening with a Mobil 1 oil bottle cap.

Hey casey, just out of curiousity. Why are you replacing your stock surge valve?

Well I have a surge problem at low speed and loads, like when driving through parking lots and stuff like that. I unhooked the surge valve line so it stayed closed, and no more surge. Still need something to release the excess pressure after wot, so I'll put a bov on it. That will stay closed when I want it to, and open when I need it to.
