Check EPP Blower camshaft work awesome with F1C and great idel or get custom grind.

Why nitrous?? with 15psi F1C and 403ci the car should be over 800rwhp.

I think 79 Injectors will be fine (without the nitrous) and I also think your right About the fuel rails you dont need to change them.

good luck and hello from Saudi Arabia.

Our blower camshaft works very well for a lot of combinations. We used it in the C5 that we built a 402 for, and we also installed an F-1C. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=40

For anything over 10 psi or so, you are going to need a completely new fuel system. Bob

why nirtous with F1C ? just choose either blower or nitrous setup

79# inj are enough ,even 60# with great fuel system will support up to 820RWHP with 115 120 duty cycle so 79 will be fine

good luck

There is no way in hell 60# injectors will support 820 rwhp. My old 75# injectors where starting to max out at 90% duty cycle around 4200 RPMs making a little under 800 rwhp.

EPP has a c5 with an f1c that makes 804 with 60s and 120 duty

I did not say that it can not be done. I said that they will not support it. IMO pushing injectors over 100% duty cycle is not good idea and is only asking for trouble down the road.

Possible yes but I wouldnt exactly call it safe. Idealy around 80% duty cycle is safe. I wouldnt take the chance on leaning on a motor that is that expensive, its just not worth it. You could up the pressure but I still dont know if that would do it (60's). Good luck on the build.

you wont have any trouble because you aren't driving the car for hours under WOT LOL

it's just a rule of thumb to get the duty cycle to 80% i dont think 100% will kil them

stock factory cars reach 85% 90% duty with no problems

the point is if he wants 79# it will be more than enough if you keep your fuel pressue up

No we don't have 60 lb injectors in there. When we swapped from the 346/D-1SC to the 402/F-1C we swapped the injectors for larger ones. I would not run 60's at that horsepower level, too easy for problems to crop up. Bob

Take a look at these fuel systems.

well Bob if you have a fuel system that will keep your pressure high up top. 60s# will be enough, why dont u ask one of your techs lol this is what you always do when some one calls.

if your 79s# are rated @58 and your pressure drops up top what gonna happen ? do your math Bob LoL

it seems you know a lot when you guys installed ECS fuel system above the tank ,now i see why 60# wont be enough

Dude dont waste your time in buying stuff u dont need, keep your stock fuel rails and install a fuel pump inline with the stock pump, then activate the pump with a boost swtich, all you need is a fuel pump that supports your goal/boost refrence fuel pressure regulator/and fuel line from the tank to the pump ,pump to fuel rails , and from the fuel regulator back to the tank

I agree. If you want more power, just put a smaller blower pulley on it. My F1C setup is seeing 18+ lbs of boost on a 402.

We get tons of calls all day long, many are not to buy parts, many just want help with something they have a problem with. If I don't know the answer then I see if one of my techs can help. I don't know everything but I do my best to help people out.

Where in the world did you get the info that we were running that F-1C with 60 pound injectors at 120% duty cycle??? We swapped to larger injectors before we even fired it up.

We initially installed the ECS fuel system per their instructions, then when we had fuel vapor problems after being on the road for over an hour, we lowered the pump to prevent the vapor lock. This pump is still supplied from the stock pump anyway, so it doesn't matter anyway. Bob

A walbro 255 is not enough. You will need at least 2 but more likely 3 walbro 255s to be safe. Bosh I believe makes a very reliable pump thats similar to the walbro 255s but supports more power and is relativly cheap. You could get 2 of those and be fine or get 1 aeromotive A1000 fuel pump. That should be enough.

Your fine in terms of your injectors. If you want to go with nitrous as well.. you'll need an even bigger fuel pump. So keep that in mind.
