After market heads aren't worth the money when it comes to FI as much as NA. Also the thin head deck issue is resolved with the pyramid rings.

ok i went back and studied the pics.....if im correct they basicly start to bore a bigger cylinder, cut down a little ways then stop , this leaves a recessed lip, kinda like installing seats in a head. then they insert a ring that is the same bore size that as a lip sticking up on the outer edge thats raised higher then the deck.... when the "modified head gasket" that he mentioned sits around the rings it used as the filler or spacer to take the excess space so when the head is tighted agaisnt these rings theres no gap, but from what i can tell the "pyramid ring" or "insert" actualy seals"cuts" straight into the head..............correct?

This was done in Formula 1 in the 80:s by BMW when they boosted 80 psi.
