andreas, really sorry you lost the old engine. its was a bit of a legend! lol
will you still be using the rings with the new engine? Also will you be putting a larger turbo on there to??
Cheers
Chris.

Itīs a 6-bolt setup so i will use MLS gaskets. I think i will use the new billet PT94 or a 98mm. Itīs importent that i can use the car with a pro tree.

You planning on using the pyramid rings on the new engine with the 6 bolts?
I think you're going to be happy with the new engine either way!
Are you changing anything other than the engine? It would be interesting to see just how much you gained from the engine swap without changing anything else in the setup.
Please keep us updated on the new HP! From what it sounds like your new engine is the exact engine I was planning for my monster truck engine except I was going to use an ERL aluminum LS2 427 with the super deck system. Please post up specs and pictures of the new engine when you get it done! I am really interested to see what your new HP and TQ numbers look like!!

Iīm going to use MLS gaskets. I havenīt seen anyone that has problem with 1500-1600hp with a 6-bolt setup that is tuned correctly.
Iīm going to use my camshaft from the other engine, and same turbo/intercooler piping. But iīm going to update my turbo to the new 94mm billet wheel. It still has a G-trim 1.0 A/R hotside. Itīs more importent with good spool then max power, iīm only looking for 1500-1600 reliable hp.
I will keep you updated with the new engine!

Why didn't you just say you o-ring the block as apposed to explaining it the way you did? O-ringing is well known and nothing new. My question is when you o-ring a block do you still run a normal head gasket?

Itīs NOT oringed. I have the stock gasket only to seal water/oil. Itīs modified around the cylinders for my pyramidrings that is mounted to the block and cuts into the head.

What he did is not the same as O-ringing. The cuts a ring around the cyl bore and installs custom fit rings that have a cutting edge on top. When the heads are torqued down the ring actually digs into the head. O rings dont cut.
