I pulled the 6 k member bolts, unbolted the sway bar from frame, unbolted the shocks, and spindle. The only thing that is holding the k member are the ps lines. If I would have did it all at once it would have been quick. But I was trying to get the oil pan out with as little work as possible and kept trying to get it out. So I still ended up having to do all of that. Some people say that they can get it out by just unbolting the 6 bolts, I couldn't. I jacked the motor and trans up and I still couldn't wiggle the bitch out. I'm still painting today and I'm waiting on some stuff to dry. We'll see how it turns out. I'm clearing everything so hopefully that will help.

Today is my last day of leave so the progress will pretty much stop until weekends.

Where are you going to be putting the fans? Noticed that you added some coolers in front of the radiator. Did you push the radiator forward so you can use the stock fans?

I'll probably have to put the coolers on the other side and put the fans right there. I have more room now because I took out the a/c condenser.

For those of you running the radiator upright, what size radiator did you replace it with?

The mounts didn't come in until late this evening, but I got em in and got everything bolted back up. We had another day off because of Columbus day so while I was waiting on the mounts I did some cleaning underneath and drilled and tapped another hole in the pan just incase there wasn't enough room. I put a new gasket on and got that all bolted up. Moved my coolers and mounted them. And by the looks of that picture I guess I need to touch up the inside there. Little less progress than I wanted today, but what can you do?

looks good so far. i did some work today too. looks like it'll the drain will work with that 90 you got on there. make sure you do your feed and drain line before putting on all the crossover and dp. it's a tight squeeze. and a pain to get to.

Probably a good time to put the steering linkage in too.

With the ebay setup has anyone had any problems with the passenger header v band flange hitting the bellhousing?

It doesn't hit it, but its close. I'll be seeing if it hits with the clamp on when I put that on.

Mine hit on the passenger side. Had to grind down the V-Band a little bit.

Look up my build thread, theres many pics on it.

Make sure your oil drain is pointed straight up

Have the 90 going straight up? I don't know what kind of fall I'm going to have. I haven't had a chance to mount the turbo yet. I just had oral surgery today and I'm in some pretty nice pain.

Having the 90 go straight up is impossible with this setup unless your running a pump.

Do NOT attempt to hook up the steering linkage until everything is bolted up except the downpipe from the turbo.

You need to slide the rear downpipe up over the kmember, then bolt up the steering linkage. Then you can connect the downpipe from the turbo to the other downpipe.
