Default Bigger injectors, spray patterns, disc vs. pintle, etc.

Reading up on the options for bigger injectors,
I see some have had problems w/ Accel and they
mention maybe it's the spray pattern (too wide?).
Looking at some of the Lucas disc types they
make a point of the "fan pattern" which I'd take
to be a wide type, others say nothing about
spray pattern.

The SVO 30#s seem to be well thought of and cheap
(relatively speaking) but Lucas/Delphi disc style
are (according to Lucas sales material) supposed to
be longer-life, and the disc style faster-acting
(better minimum-to-maximum PW range?).

Are certain Lucas injectors known to be problematic
due to spray pattern, if so, which are good and
which are bad?

Of the three "reasonable" upsizes for a slightly-
modded car with top end fuel fade, which of these:

SVO 30#
Delphi 37#
Lucas 38#

gets the most votes based on lack of performance
issues, durability, natural matching, etc.?

Quick Reply: Bigger injectors, spray patterns, disc vs. pintle, etc.
