Default Please help.....

so im getting ready to fire up my first LS engine build. I put in a 11.5 compression stroker kit along with some dart heads, my question is: since its a lot more compression than normal, can i fire it up like that or let the tunning shop start it for me? thanks for your answers....

yea...

If you went to bigger injectors and didnt change anything in your tune, I doubt it would start, or if it did it would idle/run like crap.

When i did my ~11.5.1 H/C/I I drove it over to the place to get it tuned on stock injectors then added the new ones in their shop.

I would be very weary about doing any kind of WOT or hard pulls until you get it tuned.. Starting it up and checking oil pressure, leaks, etc it should be fine. If it runs decent then go take it for spin.

What size cam you go with? You running milled heads and smaller gasket?

oil pressure is the big thing, the little o-ring by the pump can be a PITA to get right the 1st time.
