Default Car wont start after fuel pump hotwire kit installed.

Car was running the night before when i put the new fuel pump in. Added a hotwire kit yesterday and now it wont start.

I checked the relay and fuse which are good. along with the ground and power from the alternator having good contact/snug. VATS is disabled so its not that.

The fuel pump is turning on/priming so i know the wiring is correct. It turns over, just doesnt start.

I've even disconnected the plugs from hotwire at the pump, put it back to stock and the car still wont start.

What could of went wrong?

Have you checked any of the other fuses ?

Did you disconnect the battery when you installed the hotwire kit ?

The only fuses i checked were the one that came with the hotwire and the fuel pump one under the hood. what fuses should i pull and check?

battery was disconnected during the install. i tried to upload my tune and start but still nothing.

In the engine compartment on the drivers side you have a Fuel Pump fuse 20Amp and a PCM Bat 10 Amp.

If battery was disconnected, not likely that a fuse was blown, doesn't hurt to check anyways.

Tried to upload tune ? Is this a handheld or mailorder tune ?

HPT ok.

When you say you put the car back to stock , was that the tune only or the fuel pump too ?

Did you drop the tank to install the pump ?

fuel pump. i just disconnected the plugs from the hotwire at the pump and plugged back in the stock one without the hotwire so its like stock. i did the trap door method to get to the pump and no wires were cut or anything.

Yes when I installed my Racetronic and hotwire kit, it worked well, the only problem I had was the fuel level sending unit.

I'm sort of leaning towards the tune... can't say for sure.
Two reasons a car won't start ... No spark or no fuel.

If all else fails, get a plug and wire, put the plug to ground and have someone crank over the car. Don't touch any metal in the car because of shock risk.

See if fuel is getting delivered to the fuel rail.

I did the trap door to and I'm glad I did because I would have needed to drop the tank twice. ( screw that ) lol.

no. i didnt touch anything but plugging in the connectors at the pump, a ground and using the positive stud on the alternator for power like you're suppose to.

that fuse is good. i talked to a tech yesterday and went through some things(check the relay, the fuse and even checked the pinouts to make sure they had it wired correctly). everything with the hotwire itself is in working order and the fuel pump itself is getting power/being primed. gotta figure out where to go from here
