Default can you run a stock style in-line filter with an 8an feed?

anything like this possible? I have had multiple problems with my magnafuel stainless filter leaking, and I would like to possibly switch back to a stock-type filter that i can just change out when dirty.

Has anything like this been done before? Any advice? Thanks.

You can always get the -6 to -8 reducer to make the stock connection if you are running -8 line.

Its not going to flow nearly what a -8 filter will flow and cause a bottle neck. MagnaFuel is really good about there product and will take care of any issue. Where is it leaking?

I use a Canton fuel filter on mine:

That's a -8AN feed coming in, but I use the stock feed line directly after that. My **** doesn't make much power, so obviously I don't have to worry about line restriction at this point.

well I finally had a chance to look over the car, and this time it is actually leaking from the feed line that goes into the magnafuel filter, not the filter itself.

It seems that fuel is seeping past the hose end of the fitting(where the hose goes into the fitting) which then connects to the filter. I can see it trickling down the hose from here.

I have had very little time with the car, and was unable to take anything apart. I think the hose(braided line) might have either came loose or split somehow.. but not sure

Does this normally happen with these fittings?

Normally? Not in my experience - I've assembled more than a few of these types of fittings, and none of them leak. Maybe they haven't been installed long enough, but they've been in there for a couple years at this point.

how would something like this flow? Link.. Do you carry anything like this Nasty?

I am mainly looking for the best of both worlds, flows good and easily serviceable. I am not really a fan of the stainless filters.

I think thats meant for Carb pressures and will not withstand the high pressure of fuel injection. Why do you not like the SS filter? it is more serviceable than a paper? just remove and clean it? MagnaFuel makes a paper one if you have to have it. We also carry Fore and Fuelabs filters as well.

Feel free to give me a call I will get you fixed up.
