Default Questions about sumping a stock metal tank.

Getting ready to order the sump and get started, is there anything special about doing it? I see there's a baffle right where I want my sump to go, I'm assuming everyone just cuts them out of the way.

What about the sender, I have the sender off the 98 car will it work with my 99 PCM?

Thanks

I'm getting ready to do the same thing. And from what I'm told the sending unit will not work with 99 and newer cars. I guess the gauge will only show a 1/4 tank when full.. I'm hoping I can use my unit from the car with some slight mods.

I think I may have seen that in one post but couldnt find anything else to back it up. If you find out please post it up or a link if you find something.

Thanks
