Default 2 injector per cylinder W/Stock pcm

just like the title says, can it be done on a stock pcm out of a 02 model GM to put 2 injectors per cylinder like BS3 does??

say 2 80# high impediance instead of using a driver model box and 1 set of 160's low Z

any info would help..

I'd imagine it could, are you wanting to run 1 set pre-boost and 2 in boost I'm assuming?

This might sound retarded but run two injectors in series that are low impediance to get a high impediance? Always wanted to know.
Prob a bad idea and will blow the driver in the computer.

either or would be great, but thinking if both inj get wired the same they would turn on and off at the same time, so it would be too much fuel...but what if say both 80#'s gets scaled the same as 1 set so they work properly and just cut the VE in half since this is on a SD/OL running off the map sensor only, no 02's or maf ...

The stock PCM drivers might not be able to handle that but their are large enough high impedance injectors out their that will supply all the fuel you will need.

Check out Injector Dynamics and Fuel injector connection they carry a 210 lb high impedance injector that can run at very low pulse widths for good idle and drive ability.

Bad *** truck by the way!!

With todays availability of large injectors, there is no advantage of running 2 injectors per cylinder unless you can stage their operation so that only 1 is in operation at low speeds to retain drivability & idle quality.

For $1400 wouldn't a driver box and a set of lows still be cheaper???
