Default Dual inline 255lph pumps? Good or bad?

I currently have a single 255lph pump on my car and expect 550-600whp when im finished this year but i want to have enough fuel to support 700-800whp. The pump i have right now is a gsl392 and im debating on buying a 2nd gsl392 and run them inline but im not sure if this will actually help me or if it will act as the same amount of flow/pressure. Im running a fuel cell. I wouldnt mind going to a bigger single pump but then i just wasted money on the one i have now that i used once.

Run them side by side, in parallel, not in series for the results you are looking for.

I didn't catch that, mine are side by side.

run two feed lines off of your fuel cell, then why them together after that. Don't use a single line from the tank, then split to the pumps, because the pumps will be "fighting each other" for the fuel coming from that single line.

My setup will be two -6 lines feeding two Bosch 044's, then two -6 lines Y'ed into a -8 to run up front.

Can i run my return to the port on the top of the fuel cell or is that for a vent?

There should be a vent, dont want pressure building in the tank. Is your tank aluminum or plastic? If it's aluminum, take it out, clean it, and have someone weld a bung on it, if it's plastic I would imagine you could just drill and tap it for 3/8 NPT or whatever size you wanted.
