Default Fuel system questions

I'm trying to do some planning for a build i want to start this winter and am curious as to if i should sell my fuel system with my current truck or try to re-use it on the new one...

Plans for the future are a bigger motor and turbo, shooting for around 7-800 just to play it safe...

I have a bosch 044, -8 feed, FAST rails, 60lb injectors, Aeromotive boost reference reg, and -6 return currently...

Is there anything i would be able to keep? obviously the rails should be good... Was thinking about doing twin inline 044's both feed by -8 from two sumps on the cell then Y'd into a single -10 up to a Y to feed each rail. Would i need 80#'s or larger injectors? then was planning on swapping to different reg that has 2 inlets so i could go into the reg then a single -8 return, I have -6 return right now, would that be too small?

U will probly need larger injectors. U may want to look into 80s.

Thats what i was thinking was picking up a set of 80's.

Biggest things im questioning here are should i do single 044, twin 044's, or step up to a bigger pump? Single or twin 044s would be the best for me as i obviously already have one and adding another would be simple.

80's and an additional bosch 044 should be enough, running dual 044's myself. since i run a surge tank it took me a total of 2 hours to mount and wire my second bosch 044. This setup should safely support 900+ whp

This is kind on and off topic of OP, but how much hp is supposed to be ok for a -8AN feed. It kinda confuses me, cause obviously people run these aftermarket fuel rails up to 1000hp, yet inside of them, they are not any bigger than the -8AN line?

When is it recomended to switch to -10AN?

Speedinc claims they have gone as far as 720rwhp with a single 044 without leaning out (-10 an feed and -8 an outlet), my guess is that they would also be quieter than an aeromotive electronic pump.

im not too worried about how quiet they are, thats the last of my worries actually lol, I may be selling my whole fuel system with the old truck so i'll be able to do whatever i need to do as far as fuel goes...

So its between two 044's or one large single, would like to stay under 400 bucks for a pump if possble, gonna be a -10 feed. up to a y block then to a set of either FAST or aeromotive rails, feeding atleast 80lb injectors, then into a Aeromotive boost reference regulator, with a -8 return.

Now ifff i wanted to do e85... what pump and injectors would i need to go with?

Was thinking maybe one of these two pumps?

or
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MRF-MP-4401/

The 4601 says good to 900hp, and the 4401 says up to 2000hp, for the extra $30 im thinking the 4401 would be the best bet right? would a -10 feed still be good for say 6-700 horse on e85? would i need bigger then 80lb injectors? 96lbs be good? Lets say i wanna build this system to handle 1000 hp on e85...

Those are carb pumps.....max PSI is 36. -8 line can feed over 1000hp if done properly. E85 will need 33% more fuel volume. You really need to know exactly what it is you will be feeding? if your shooting for 800rwhp on pump gas you will need almost 1100rwhp worth the fuel delivery for E85. Single pump option is the best less plumbing and failure to deal with. A single MP-4303 would be plenty.

Feel free to give me a call I can help you setup the proper system for your needs.

Ah thanks Nasty N8, didnt even realize those were carb pumps lol, just started looking into MagnaFuel pumps today.

I just figured i should upgrade to -10 while i was re-doing the system. Would that be a bad idea?

Not sure if ill do the e85 or not, i would really like too but seems its tough to get a good dyno tune with using e85?
