Default Any benefit to a Y block/dual feed over a single feed?

I'm ordering fittings and hoses for my fuel system, -10 from the rear of the car, and I am trying to decide on a Y block splitting into dual -8 lines for the individual rails and then a bypass regulator with 2 inlets and a return to the tank, or run the -10 into 1 rail, bridge the 2 rails with -8, then single -8 out of the second rail, to the bypass regulator, then to the tank again.

I prefer option 2 for cleanliness (less clutter, less lines, less fittings), but will I have pressure issues between rails with that setup that I wouldn't see with a Y block?

i don't know what your setup is... but a dual in/out will give you much more consistant pressure rail to rail, especially if you're running batch it will be all over the place. I run -10 > dual -8 with a 1 piece magnafuel y block. i wish the thing wasn't pink/purple though

Setup is a twin turbo iron block 370 in a 95 Impala SS...trying to go for the simple/clean pro-touring look...if it isn't black, stainless, or natural aluminum, it probably won't find it's way into my engine bay lol.

What pump how much power will it be supplying?? I use a single feed for anything under 1000hp without issue. But -10 feed is big line and I usually split it to 2 -8 to each rail. Give me a call I can help you get it plumbed properly.

Aeromotive Eliminator.

I'd call but I feel kinda bad talking to you or any other vendor on the phone when I know you're in the business to make a sale and profit...I get distributor pricing on everything I buy through my own sources (unless it's something on a specific vendor has) so I don't want to waste a vendors time...so show me something cool you have that'll work that nobody else carries and then I'll feel much better about calling!!!

I have the exact setup you described.-10 to a Y-block splits to -8s to each rail.
Each rail exits with an -8 to the dual intake regulator and an -8 return..I would love to tell you how well it works but i have yet to get my car tuned.. It did sorta create a cluster compared to what i had before.

No offense takin..Im not to thrilled with how it looks either..
I had major fuel issues before and this is what Aeromotive said to try..
I have a feeling it will get redone again in the near future
