Default Small hose on stock fuel pump

What the hell is this little hose for that is connected to the stock fuel pump? Its connected at the top of the pump and the line runs down into the bucket and attached to a 1 way valve that has a filter sock on it on the bottom of the cup. There is also a filter sock on the fuel pump itself. This is out of a 2000 Trans Am.

That device is a venturi pump setup that siphons fuel from the tank up into the bucket to fill it. The small hose shoots fuel under pressure through a small orifice that then inturn causes a suction to pull fuel from the tank.

Is there any aftermarket pumps that have that extra output?
I need a replcement pump, but really hate to loose the bucket design.

I was thinking of adding a tiny 24v pump run at 12 just to fill the bucket, or something similar. Maybe a tiny external pump?

Any thoughts?

Jason,
Yes there are correct replacement fuel pumps with this connection... I have them in stock if interested.
