Default Looking for a picture of 98 Racetronix Fuel Pumps

Ok, I can't seem to find the right filter sock for the bottom of my 98 racetronix fuel pump. Who has a picture of what sock they used and how did it fit on.

The one I ordered from Racetronix is the size of a maxi pad and is way to big and doesn't even fit on the pump......

Show me some pics

Hello,

When did you order this pump?

This is the filter sock for the current revision of our 98 F-body pumps:

http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.a...WFS-06&eq=&Tp=

The previous style pumps used the stock filter sock with an adapter fitting.

bought pump from guy on craigslist. It was brand new, still in plastic bubble wrap. It was the f98 pump. I ordered that WFS-06 from ya'll and there was no way in hell it would even fit on my pump.

I am just going to go back to stock, this pump has been a nightmere!!!!

As I said our older pumps utilize the stock filter sock! But you will need the adapter and our instruction manual.

The pump should have also come with full color instructions for installation.

Problems like these are why we also recommend buying from a Racetronix dealer!

Edit: If you could post a picture of the pump that you have purchased it would help!

Yes that is the correct sock installed on that pump! (Or it certainly seems to be)

Can you E-mail a picture of the sock you received from us so I can confirm it is the right one?

Well the WFS-06 is the correct sock for your application and you now have the instructions. The only thing I can recommend is ordering a WFS-06 from our web store. It is the only filter sock that will fit our FPA-002 1998 F-body pump.

well the wfs-06 does me no good, it will not fit on my pump, so I am going to the local speed shop where I got my last sock and get another I guess.

So in the previous pic, that sock being installed like that isn't restricting the flow of gas any?

That WFS-06 has been broken!

Did you ever E-mail us this referencing your Sales order or sales invoice number?

As I said, a local speed shop will not have the correct filter sock to fit our pump.

Please E-mail us with your sales history and information, and how that filter sock was broken!

Thanks.

You should post a picture of the inlet of your pump. Since you bought it used, there is no guarantee the pump you have is a Racetronix... someone could have switched the pump in the Racetronix housing.

Hope it was really cheap, considering a new one is only $149
