The white is a 5v output to be used with data logging software such as HPTuners and EFI Live.

The blue wire connects to a RS-232 com port for hyper-terminal data logging which is used for data logging when an EFI system is not accessable.

Neither has to be used for the gauge/sensor to function properly.

A pillar gauge pod is a nice/easy way to mount. For the O2 sensor you could run the wires down the pillar, through the dash and out through the trans tunnel near the shifter boot. This should put it near the bung in the exhause. Gound to fire wall under the dash and pull power from a switched 12v source under the dash.
