Default My in tank pump solution for E85 up to 1200 HP (1500+HP on gas)

I came up with this idea a while ago because I wanted to use the stock tank. I didn't really want to use 3 walbros and my dual walbro setup is maxxed out. I don't have much fab ability, so I had my friend Frank from Revolution Race Works do his thing. His execution came out great. Pump fuel sock is at the same height as stock. The pump is a Fuelab Prodigy 42401. The pump is rated for 175 GPH at 45psi when powered by 13.5V but the test sheet that came with it showed it was flowing closer to 190 GPH.

Was hoping to have the fuel system installed next week, but my motor decided to stop working yesterday while out for a drive. No idea how long it will be until it's back up and running now.

Hope it works out for you. I have absolutely NOTHING but bad things to say about the brushless fuelab pumps. Needless to say it looks good so I'm in for the results.

I've heard some swear by them, some swear at them, same deal with walbros.

Knock on wood I've never had a fuel pump die and I've had many of them. With the speed control on low for driving and being in tank, I doubt I'll have issues with over heating which seems to be the problems with most pumps.

Some on here love the Aeromotive 1000's, but I've never seen one work on a street car in Vegas ever. I have known 4 of them that left people stranded on a regular basis.

I'll probably find out eventually if I don't part out / sell my car.

Thumbs up

Josh@fuelab, glad to see you posting on this, and some other sites! I'm interested to see how this one works, I wasn't sure if your pumps were able to be used as intank pumps.

Nice setup, I've got a 41402 in my car and so far so good. It flowed about 170 gph as opposed to an advertised 140, which is plenty for me

Zombie, how's it working out for you? Have you had a chance to run it yet?

I'm curious to see how much power it can support on e85 in reality. I ended up with 2 magnafuel race pumps pushing 3500hp worth of gas to get 1100rwhp on e85. I'm hoping it will support the 1500rwhp on e85 that we're aiming for. Big power on e85 takes ALOT of pump!

As far as I know his car is still down. I don't think that he has gotten a chance to get the pump in yet.
