Hey guys, Im in the process of turboing my 5.3. I was wondering if a single inline bosch 044 fuel pump is enough of a pump to get me 550whp?
If so, what would you say would be the max hp with it?
Any help will be great
Thanks

That a solid pump and pumps more than the 340 walbro pumps. And I have seen walbro single pumps make 700rwhp with a hotwire harness and a boost a pump. It wasnt safe at all but it did it and for over a year before upgraded... The Bosch will support the 550rwhp you are looking for without a problem. I would not go over 650 with it and a hotwire harness.. And thats an opinion... I happen to like the 044 pumps.

Bosch will support 700whp. However, twin Walbro's will support more, but I like the idea of having one pump. Out of all the pumps I've used, the Bosch is my favorite.
