Default Cam swap, do I need bigger injectors?

I've got a custom grind cam from eps coming in the mail soon and I need to know if I should upgrade my injectors.

The cam spec is 226/230 .598”/.609” 111LSA +2 advance. I'll be putting on an LS6 intake, and underdrive pulley. Car has a lid and full exhaust. I know the stock injectors on the 2000 are 26#, but I have a 28.8# set I was going to throw on. Will this be enough, or should I buy a bigger set?

Also, I heard that it is not a good idea to swap to larger injectors without a tune. Is this correct? What do most guys do? Drive the car to the tuner and swap them out before the dyno, or mail order tune before driving it to the dyno?

Still new to this fuel injected stuff. Thanks!

I would honestly get bigger ones...if you do a search google they have a fuel injector calculater you can use....you could prob get by with the 28's but idk what the cycle duty would be at with those

Thanks for the suggestion. I ended up buying a set of SVO 30# injectors that should flow 36 on the LS1 rail. I guess this should be plenty for what I am doing.
