Default racetronix fuel pump
Hey Guy's, my boss gave me a 255 racetronix fuel pump but wth out the hot wire kit... is it really necessary for it to work the proper way? Thanks.

you wont need it unless your pushin 600 plus

I would go ahead and get the HW kit. I am pushing over 600 with the spray and so far I've seen zero issues with fuel supply. The 255 with HW kit is an excellent upgrade.

if your not pushing big power then i wouldn't use it.i just had big issue with mine,which pain in the *** to solve it

It's funny cause I just finish installing my pump wht out the harness and am having problems!... wth my stock fuel pump my fuel pressure gauge was @ 42psi(normal) n wht the new pump it's reading 20psi am running really lean.. any ideas?

You have other problems to fix first.

Not sure where to start, but pull it back out & look at the internal hoses first.

it is better to have the hotwire kit, or at least make new wiring, as the factory wiring and pins may cause future problems. insufficient wire per amperage, bad connection...etc

does the car run fine?if not whts its doing?did u change your fuel filter recently?

it runs fine now! i put my stock fuel pump back... all probably just go wht a simple walbro system, am only pushing 525rwhp wth nitrous i dont think i need a big pump. the problem i had wht my racetronix i was only getting 20psi of fuel(motor running) and when l turn the switch on i was getting 12psi!!
Maybe my pump is bad? if u guys dont think is bad it's for sale!PM if u guys are interested. Thanks guys.
