Default Do I need a fuel return line??? and other questions.

I am in the beginning of an LS1/T56 swap into a 67 Camaro. I contemplated a ZZ383 before deciding to embrace this, so I am pretty excited about it! I'm kinda new to the LS world, always been a Carb guy, and have a couple of questions. Engine is a 99 Vette LS1.

I want to swap the wire T.B for a cable T/B. Which do I use, or what is the best way to go?

Do I need a fuel return line for this setup? I think I read where the 99 vette did not have a return accessory. Can I mod the present ones if I need this or do I have to purchase another set?

Lastly, no MAP sensor with the setup. Suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Jim

Use the stock MAP sensor. [Ebay. etc]
You can use the Vette filter/reg, if you want to use the single line fuel feed. [About $40.00]. That way, you can mount it at/near the tank, and run the return line there.
Quick disconnect fittings are available at Summit, etc.

Thanks for the quick reply O.G. I will plan on the regulator. Any thoughts on the conversion from wire to cable on the throttle body?

Default Update

Looks like I am going with the drive by wire. A good friend at the nearby GM dealership just found a takeoff pedal assembly for me. Tech that tunes Corvettes there says he can tune better with the wire setup.

Price was right
