Just wanted to double check before I go any farther with this. As per the sticky above by mightymouse I can t two 255 lph pumps together inside the bucket in my tank and run the stock regulator lines and fuel rails? Just add the extra pump and they will both run all the time or put a Hobbs switch on the 2nd pump and it will only come on under boost. Of course I will have to add separate wireing for the 2nd pump? Bottom line I can keep my stock regulator lines and rails?

 

Yes it will work, but running both pumps continuously can drastically increase idle fuel pressure.

 

when i had twin pumps i had one on all the time and the second on a relay with my nitrous switch... i've since switched to a single Bosch 044 in tank pump... does all i need it to do

 

when i looked that pump up it says it is an in line pump? also i think boosted cars require more fuel system than nitrous cars. on my h/c n2o my fueling was fine with the blower it wont keep up anymore.


has anyone mounted a adj regulator(boost referenced) near the tank instead of off of the rails?

 

it is i altered my hanger to get it in the tank. had to buy a screw on fuel sock filter made for the 044. as well as a fitting to convert the outlet to barb for the feed hose.

i have pics if you need them and i can run the car far past the empty mark and it doesnt die out.
