Default Where to hook power wire for racetronix hotwire kit?

Do I hook it up directly to the back of the alternator or do I hook it up to the stud with the wire that comes off of the alternator at the front of the car?

I'd do the back of the alternator.

I hooked mine up to the positive power stud on the drivers side fuse boxes, I've also up-graded my power and grd cables and have a 220amp alternator. Anyway, regardless if you have oem power cables, or upgraded ones as long as their in good condition I'd still hook it up at the drivers side power stud.
IMO, I don't see any issue with it hooked up either way.
