-8 feed and -6 should suit you just fine.

To keep the fuel from heating up.

Or if your running twin in-tanks, just use the stock feed as a return and shut one of the pumps off with a hobbs switch.

Ok, basically, your FEED line should be a -8 and the return should be a -6an. This will give you room to grow, and will help the fuel not overheat. Since you are not using the Stock feed for a return(obviously) run the said feed and return mentioned. It is a no brainer. Are you using an external pump or an intank pump?

If using an external pump, i would look at getting a sumped tank. As much as you may not want to hear it, but using an external pump and pulling from the top doesnt sound like a good idea IMHO

If your car has a metal tank and you know a good fabricator they can even sump your current tank, and likely wouldn't cost more than a few hundred bucks.

even easier. just run the -8 feed off the sending unit, and a -6 return to the fuel tank!

His f-body tank looks sweet, I have checked it out before too. The whole kit (lines, tank, pump, and rails) is reasonably priced as well.

When you get it post up some pic's I'd love to see some installed pictures. It's nice he makes a good metal tank for us plastic tank guys .

What if instead of installing a sump you fab up a hardline coming from the tank lid to the bottom of the tank. Just measure from the bottom of the tank to where the lid sits while installed. Then cut a hard line and install it onto the tank lid. It should have the same efficiency of a "in-tank" fuel pump setup.

Just a thought...

To the OP,

I would check to see if the braided line is DOT approved. If so, then you're good to go. Personally I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be but sometimes there's these dumb *** laws out there that prohibit certain things.
