Meth injection for n/a use
Meth injection for n/a use My motor has 11.6 to 1 compression and i want to raise it more when i redo my bearings this winter. My question is can i run 93 and meth on the street then use race gas for the track? Idk if n/a or when i spray it i could do this? If its same concept as all the fi guys use

I know in a test I saw, on an engine dyno
running 113 octane, made 697 HP
same engine with 93 octane and Meth... made 732 HP
results may vary....
but there is power to be made with methanol.

Weird.. got a link? Another nice benefit besides full timing curves is how clean the motor is after use of meth! Like brand new!
this was an actual "saw it in person" test...
was helping a buddy with a BBC build for a Nova...I did not build the motor or do any of the tuning on the engine dyno...
I was just the buddy who was getting paid some beer to help transport and install the engine..LOL
Hell.. I know you can find videos on youtube with a snow performance meth kit showing a dyno with similar results
I know a typical NA gain with Methanol is around 5%-10%
bigger gains on a boosted application or a nitrous application
