Corvette Fuel filter / Regulator for Ls1 Swap
I have a 99 Trans Am Ls1 / 4l60e swapped into a 95 Z28.
I ended up using the stock 99 T/A fuel lines ( fuel filter line and another) , but kept the stock 95 LT1 gas tank / fuel pump.
The fuel pressure is at 70 psi causing it to get too much fuel and die out when at low rpms.
After some research, it looks like I need to buy a '99-'04 Corvette fuel filter/regulator since I used the stock 99 Trans Am filter setup.
So far I found this for $70+S&H:
http://www.speedwaymotors.com/LS1-Fu...Kit,41791.html
Includes:
- fuel filter/regulator,
-the male AN6 push on fitting
-2 of the AN- to 3/8 fittings
- one AN6 to 5/16 fitting
Does this sound correct? If so, I just need two stainless braided lines then right?
Is this the right stainless steel braided hose to get? If so, do I need just 2 and what size length?

You only need one line coming from the single outlet side of the filter to the fuel rails, then hook up the fuel feed and return to the other side of the filter, should allow 56-65psi at the rail. You need -6 AN line and will be good to about 700hp.

I personally wouldn't use those blue fittings. They've been known to pull off under pressure. There were a few threads on here about this in the past. Russel has come out with a new style that threads on instead.

For you f-body guys using the Vette filter/regulator, are you guys eliminating the regulator in the tank?
Also, does anyone know of a similar type Vette filter/regulator set-up that has a -8an line for feed and outlet to rails? I would rather not run a return line to the rail if I don't have to.

Hey y'all, does anyone know a way I can still use this filter with AN fittings but be able to use the hard lines that run under the car? Would like to stick with hard lines running from this filter all the way under the car up to the engine bay. Is there a way to adapt -6 AN lines to bubble/double flared hard lines? Thanks in advance, Jeremy
