Default Dual In-tank pumps with Racetronix components

We have been getting many questions about which items are required and how to use them when building a DIY DP system. In an effort to consolidate this information and help our customers we have created this thread.

If you are decided on installing a DP we offer the widest range of components at very competitive prices. Our fueling components and wiring solutions are more complete and well designed thereby reducing the amount of work required for assembly while improving performance and reliability.

Here is a list of parts required for the in-tank solution:
, , ,,,,

Here are some power harness components. The pressure switch and connector are not needed for N/A applications:

, , , ,,

Please post your DP questions here along with basic information such as:
  • Projected FPWH (not motor build list)
  • Fuel type
  • Static or boost-referenced fuel pressure

I don't have anything to add at this point, as I'm still at the basis of building my fuel system.

Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to make this thread. I'll be looking back to get some ideas for my E85 system!

Are you guys planning on putting together a "all in one" kit? With all these components pieced together, what would the ballpark price be?

Will those dual pumps/brackets fit in the stock f-body bucket?

Im looking into buying your 510 dual pump set up and I was wondering what wire harness upgrade you would recommend for an 02 fbody. I purchased the upgraded bulkhead harness for an aeromotive 340 pump in the past, will that work? The aeromotive harness is for a single pump so if I can use that what would I need to run a second pump with it for the 255 pumps? What kind of reduction in pump life should I expect if I ran both pumps full time?

specs added

~900-1000fwhp (whatever 800whp is at the crank)

e85

boost referenced running ~15psi

1000cc injectors

The problem here is that everybody wants something different by introducing pre-purchased parts or their own ideas into the mix. We feel that it would be best to educate customers on the function of each item we offer so that they can make educated buying decisions. We will provide a recommended parts list based on each vehicle type shortly. This forum does not provide an advanced WYSWIG interface so posting lists and tables is difficult and time consuming.

Do those relays in that wiring kit offer the same "emi suppression" that this dual relay harness does?
http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.a...%2D004&eq=&Tp=

I know most good relays have some kind of diode or resistor for use with pcm and such. Just wanted to clarify.

All our automotive harnesses use sealed relays with resistive suppression. The picture in our web store does not show the new version of our DRPH which now uses weatherproof relays.

1400hp to the flywheel capable.
Pump+meth.
Boost referenced.

I just ordered up your DP-680 kit and have 2 questions.

I see the outlet barb fitting is only a 3/8". Do I only need a -6 line to feed the regulator or should I increase the size to a -8 or -10 to feed to the engine?

Does the kit come with the pump harness?

We recommend a Teflon -8 feed and -6 return.
We carry these quality items in our web store at very competitive prices.

A single 340LPH pump will support 600RWHP with a FM FPR.

The F99 kit was never designed to be used as part of a DP system so it is not something we will cover in this thread. We highly recommend you sell it intact and put your money into the proper components. Thanks!
