Anyone running the high flow (1000cc and above) High Impedance injectors?
I'm currently running the 60# mototrons. I also have a Versa Fueler (low imp driver box) and 95# Delphis but have had a issue in my setup. It ran great for the first year but I had an electrical gremlin, and now any injector I put on there stays locked wide open when the box is in the circuit. Take the box out, the car runs great. Put the box back on, it floods the snot out of it. I sent the box back and got it repaired, but when I put it on, same flooding. I thought, "I'll just buy a new box" so I did and put it on. Ugh.. same flooding. I've taken a multi meter and checked everything multiple times. I've tried two other PCM's. No matter what, if I run the stock harness, everything runs super. If I put either box on, the injector locks wide open. So... reading a vendors site on the HIGH Impedance injectors, they say the new design of these overcomes the issues of the design and now you can get high flowing high impedance injectors. I'm maxing out my current 60# with my turbo setup (PT7675 right now, twin GT35's going on later this year). Do any of you have any experience with these new 1000cc and above hi Z injectors?
Thanks,
Dave

After much polling and reading, I pulled the trigger on a set of these from Texas Speed & Performance...

Got the injectors...
Currently, I'm running the stock Fuel Pressure Regulator but I'm ordering the Aeromotive AFPR #13107 today so I can run the injectors at 4bar (58psi) instead of the stock 3 bar (43.5psi)

I installed these today. Since I am running the 2 bar seed density, I just re-scaled the injector constant to about 48% of the 3 bar level (109psi), then plugged In the injector offsets and loaded the tune. She fired right up, nailing a 14 .7 right away on the wide band. But since this was a cold start I knew that was going to be a bit lean once it warmed up. Sure enough, that was true. I Dropped the injector constant by 2 and it appears all is well.
