Default Which Injector option is best

So I'm currently looking to put some fuel injectors on a LQ4 which uses the LS1 type injectors. However it will be going to LS3 heads next year. I don't want to buy injectors twice and I know they are different sizes. If I buy the taller LS1 style injectors now could I use them on the LS3 intake set up with something like Holey fuel rails?

Yep, all you need to do is make some spacers to space the rail up. I fit a truck intake and rails with LS1 injectors. I believe the spacer came out to be 0.80 and i just used some thin wall square tubing i got from home depot. Also, anything LS2 and newer has fatter injectors also, so you'll need the FAST thick o rings for the intake (lower) side. Ive used them before they work well. $20 for the set.

Afterward I switched to an LS2 intake and ended up filing 1/3 off the spacer length. Again, fit perfect.

I don't know what kind of HP your looking to make, but the best bang for the $ is the GM GTP injectors. They are 36/42# injectors. They are rated at 42#'s at 58psi base pressure. You can buy them in the classifieds for under $100, or cheaper at your local yard, send them in to Eric Derr, and for less than $200 have a good solid injector that is cleaned, flowed, and ready to go. I did mine for $100 total. They are stock LS1 height, and the same connector.
