Why do you need such a big injector? At 1300 to the crank (over-estimation, I know) with an 85% duty cycle on an e85 turbo application, you'll need a 1300cc injector at 3 bar rail pressure (which is what most of these injectors are rated at). I plan on hitting 1000 to the wheels on E eventually and just picked up a set of 1300cc FID injectors from a vendor on the GTO forums and it only cost me $750.

from what all the injector calculators are saying is that they recommend 1300cc for E at 80% so im basing it off that. not 100% sure, but i rather go too big, over too small. thats a good deal! can you send me a link to where you got them? thanks for the input

I think you may be seeing a lot of high recommendations because all of the usual injectors from companies like ID or Deatschwerks use a base pressure of 43.5. If you use an injector that states that it is 1300 cc at 43.5 psi of rail pressure at 58 psi rail pressure, it becomes 1500cc instead. I use the calculators on Deatschwerks website and its telling me that for a turbo application for your car with 1000 hp to the wheels (1176 at the flywheel with a manual transmission right about) on e85 with an 80% DC, you'll need 1254cc injectors. This is with a 43.5 psi base pressure though, which all of the injectors on their site (and ID's site) are default rated at so at your pressure (58 psi), they're actually 1448cc injectors. And I'll shoot you a PM about where to get them.

Around the 1600cc mark it seems everyone just sells/resells the Bosch CNG injector 0280158333 with various top hats to suit different applications. ( Or there is another seemingly identical ending with 4 instead of 3 )
And with widely varying prices.

Some rate these as low as 1450cc, others as high as 1700cc....even quoting same pressures.

Bosch's own listing for these ( Aus site )

https://www.bosch-motorsport-shop.co...-ev14-injector

What would be worth paying a little extra for is ensuring you get a set that have been either flow matched, or have flow data supplied so you can trim individual cylinders ( assuming you use an ecu that allows this )

If you search for that part number you get a plethora of sellers and options. These are just some ( as I've been looking recently myself )

Default Bosch/Ford Alt Fuel S/S injectors

Hi ALL, I sell the Ford fitted Bosch Stainless Steel (internal S/S) fuel injector intended for "E" fuels, they are of the size you request AND I too have fitted this injector on LS-x engines with "E" fuels.

I sell this injector to LS-1 Tech members for $105.00, a discount over retail.

If you want a guaranteed set that will work with E85, go with the ones Lance is offering to sell you for $840/set.

Your next best option are the Bosch 210s. They're huge injectors and they are stainless (although a few have reported issues with them with E85). They are the base injector that all of the aftermarket injector companies use for their 2000cc injectors.

The Bosch 160s don't work very well in street cars.

But which "Bosch 160"....there seem to be many variants of all the injectors.

Default Injector OHMs

Hi All, I may have a report of Value.

There are Large Flow injectors that ARE LOW OHM.
The GM-LS PCM uses an injector driver IC that can ONLY drive High Impedance fuel injectors.
The IC also has Fault Protection with reports to OBD Flash when current flow of an injector is TOO GREAT.

Thus the need to ask the resistance value of a fuel injector when matched to a GM PCM.
