Just from poking around on the internet, it looks like an adjustable regulator is around $100 more. Install seems pretty straight forward. Only wildcard will be fuel line cost.

IMO stay away from what is mentioned in this link and instead use PTFE. Racetronix appears to sell PTFE fuel line hose as well.

Although I have finally learned how to cut the stainless braiding without fraying, the custom fittings for PTFE hose appears to be much easier to install with less chance of leakage than Earl's, or the Summit brand..

I will absolutely be sticking with proven ethanol safe fuel line. I might need to find a place that will do custom length lines. I will have to figure out the length from the fuel rail to the tank for the return line.

It's my understanding the the stock fuel line is sufficient for the return line and that all you need is the feed line.

Might want to review post # 6 and #15 in link below.

BTW - stainless braid is heavy and not near as pliable as the synthetic braid. Read the how-to for attaching the connectors to PTFE. They suggest buying PTFE hose cut to length, but it looks as if it is as easy or easier to cut to length compared to stainless braided line. I use a cutoff wheel but make sure to use a face mask when cutting stainless if that is what you choose.

What will the factory fuel pump bucket feed connection handle? Will it be able to supply enough fuel for an NA LS 454?

For fuel lines I've always used pre-assembled Fragola PTFE lines. They're professionally crimped and save a ton of time and money. I believe Nitrous Outlet and Russell also sell pre-assembled lines.

pre-assembled lines are what I am looking for. Hopefully in custom lengths.

You can get custom lengths but honestly the lengths already available should cover anything you need. You can specify PTFE lines once you select the length and AN size.
