Default Holley EFI WOT issue

415CI ls3.
ls3 intake manifold
Holley Sniper 92mm TB

i adjusted the slack out of my cable, but it still does not completely open the TB. Wanted to know if anyone has had similar issues and a possible resolution for the issue. Pedal to the floor, the TB is not open all the way.

TIA for any help!

Had that problem on a Nova swap, Pedal ratio was wrong, We bent the arm where you actually push the throttle with your foot upwards about 3/4" so it would have more room to travel. The other option is to get a different pedal or add length to the side of the pedal where the cable connects.

Depending on what throttle body your using, there are two ways to connect the cable, one speeds up the throw so less pedal required.. I had to move hte guid that catches the cable was held on with 2 screws and had 3 positions, mine is out of a van.

Running a Holley sniper 92mm. Using the stock cable there’s only one location on the bracket. It bolts to the front passenger side intake bolt and has the square notch in it to receive the cable.

Is there more than one hole in the arm for the TB. The first time I took my car to the dyno, like a looong time ago. I had a NW92 and had the same problem. Turns out there were two holes in the TB arm/lever where the cable could go. I didn't have it in the correct one.

yeah there’s two places for it to go but the other would make it way off center line for the cable to line up on the TB.

There is an adjustment on that "cruise control" throttle cable...

The YELLOW arrows show where the locking tab is, slide that up off of the throttle cable adjuster, about 1/4" or so to unlock it.

The BLUE arrows show where you need to grab the cables, and pull them both away from the adjuster....

Then, while holding them apart, obviously with some tension, simply pop the locking tab back down....

That should fix it....Verify TPS % with key on, engine off.

IF, the TPS is above 0% at IDLE, then simply pop the adjuster lock tab off, and allow like 1 groove of inward "play" (of the 2 cables) to fix it...
