Default Fuel regulator

So i ordered a boyd welding fuel tank for my c10 project. It come with an aeromotive 340 return style pump. They tell me to use and actual regulator instead of corvette style filter/regulator as it wont flow enough and damage pump. Any regulator recommendations. Ive seen aeromotive and holley adjustable ones and some that are non-adjustable preset to 59.5psi.

truck is 5.3na with returnless tbss rail

So a 5.3 NA why do you need a 340 pump? I've run a number of LS6/LS3's engine swaps with 255 pumps using a C5 FFR with zero fuel delivery issues.

that is the only fuel pump boyd welding uses in there rear aluminum c10 tanks so i was just trying to figure out regulator that would work with that pump. Ended up buying an aeromotive one with 10micron filter all in one today. Like this. Overkill fuel system for sure

I was running a C5 fuel filter regulator with a 340LPH pump and it didn't last long at all. I figured it was my inexperience at installing one in the factory bucket and then I switched over to a Ractronix 255 which ended up being not enough pump so I then purchased a new pump from Squash Performance that had twin Walbro 450s. I have one hooked up and still using the C5 fuel filter regulator but if you ask me they're not worth the trouble and I'm now looking at replacing it with an Aeromotive bypass regulator.

aeromotive says, the problem with corvette filter/reg is the filter is too restrictive for there 340 pump. And ive read multiple people says so elsewhere. All this buy once cry once crap is adding up. But im super close and dont want any hiccups
