open injector circut

Default open injector circut

Help I recently changed knock sensors and plugs on my 2000 ws6 after reinstallation i am now getting an obd2 code #200 and #300 open injector circut and multiple missfires....

I did seal up the knock sensor caps with silicone to prevent further contanination by water....

All appears to be connected correctly i have a worthless Haynes book so trouble shooting is difficult at best...

The car starts and runs fine for about 1.5 min after the codes are cleared then goes to rough idle.... I checked the pins in all the electrical plugs and all appear to be unbent... Plugs are ac delco double platinums gapped at .060 as specd.... Any help PLEASE

Is a particular cylinder misfiring more than the others?

started with multiple missfires then went to #7 missfire detected along with open injector circut obd 2 code # 200 with odb 2 code 307...

How many miles on the car? it might be time to replace some injectors.

It has 58 k on it i moved some of the injectors around for ease of reinstallation of the fuel rail... It has the following mods bbk throttle body ported polished MAF ends all the free mods , Trans Go shift kit ,Motive 373 gears ...

I have to use PP3 because the dealership would not recallibrate the speedo...

It has allways had 93 oct fuel with about 5 gallons of sunnoco 103-106 oct unleaded run through it monthly.....

Any suggestions on injectors/rails whats the best bang for the buck?? With the sealed ram airbox the hood has been opened for better flow no baffles the MAF ends make it run a little lean but not to bad... car has never thrown a code until this .....

Is it possible that you didn't get an injector connector seated properly? I had one look like it was on, but the clip never "snapped." You'd be able to tell because the release bar will still be pressed down, and of course the connector will come right off. Double check the harness, it would make sense.

Well its fixed finally it was two loose injector connections as you suspected!!! with the car running i just began checking the injector plugs by pressing them in and found #5 & #7 were not seated all the way.... Runs smoother than ever no codes... To look at the caps all appeared to be seated....
