Fuel Pressure ?
Fuel Pressure ? thinking about upgradeing the fuel pump on my Ls1, but I have a few ?s. I know bigger pumps create higher pressures, what does this do to tuning. Does the higher pressure make the car run a little rich or does the fuel system have a pressure regulator to keep a constant pressure at the injectors.
since there is no fuel rail pressure sensor, if you have a higher rail pressure, the computer does not know it, and you will run rich.
However, its normally from 58 to maybe 62 psi, so its not a huge big deal with the ls1's weird fuel system (dropping pressure drop across the injector when you go wot)
