Default New Shell V-power?

is this even worth it?....how exactly does it clean?...anyone run it?...will it cause problems....whats it actually clean?.. does it dffer from any other 93 ovctane fuel?

the reason i worry is becuase a few years agot when my mom got her new car...she usaully gets speedway but a shell was the onlythign available...we filled her up and bam...knocking and the car nearly dies....then it jerked and acted up for a few blocks then was ok....i dont get it??

would it be a good idead to swtich between V-power and all other premiums 92^?or stick with one?...what will i benefit if i use it...and how long should i run it to do whatever cleaning theing it does and go back?

sorry for lenght

I havnt personally used it, but my brother filled up his bike with it a few weeks back. He has a 97 cbr f3 and when using the cheapest local gas, Sheetz, he got 53mpg. He switched to Vpower and it dropped to 45mpg. Now Sheetz gas sux giant goat *****. It will make any LS1 run like crap. His bike didnt run any better, or any worse....he just lost mileage. Persoanally I wouldnt use it. I like to use my Local Exxon because I know that they get decet quality gas, plus my car runs great on it. All I think that the Vpower is, is just regular octane gas with an addition of fuel injector cleaner. Or something to that effect. I dont think its worth it.

Default v-power

i always fill v-power and sometimes sunoco ultra94 but i never noticed any problems with the v-power, the car runs great for as long as i have used it. no knocking or anything. and don't use bp, that gas sucks and will ruin ur car.

The experiance that my brother got might have to do with the fact that this bike is carburated and has a jet kit so that might have something to do with the burn.

I used and didn't like it. Worst than chevron 92, gas mileage got lower and my wallet lighter. Don't bother, it's all marketing.

Ran it on a 175 mile drive home on the parkway at 85mph, I got 22-23 mpg. Not bad for a modded car, seemed good to me.

I've used the shell v-power and really have not been able to tell a difference. I just don't like using it because I have found an exxon in town that is cheaper than the shity gas at grocery stores.

I had been running Exxon 93 in my Camaro SS. At 2700 miles, I swapped the heads. I was surprised at how much carbon build-up there was on the cylinders and valves with so few miles on the car. I'm now running heads, cam, and a supercharger and switched to Shell V-power 93 a couple of weeks ago. Car runs good and the mileage has stayed the same. Hopefully it'll run cleaner and carbon build-up won't be as bad.

I filled up with a tank of this and have seen my LTFTs
drift positive by 3-4 points. Does anyone know if this
is an oxygenated, or otherwise "mixture engineered"
formula?
