All Im saying is a 30-32# injector at 43.5 psi, being almost a 36#inj at 58 pis flows 20% more as it is. If you can get 37#ish inj for a reasonable price I could see that maybe, but 42s? ive seen most guys having more problems tuning the 42s then almost every other injector, and this guy seems concerned about that
On a FI application, no matter what power it makes, I use the Moto 60s you guys sell over 42s because they just seem to fall in line better. Used both many times, I just dont like the 42s Ive used. I agree on overkill better then under I think the same way you do, but your average guy just getting software sometimes has problems with part throttle/idling/mileage issues with a big injector.

using that calculator you posted it recommends (using the high end of flywheel hp you stated 525) 80% DC 42 # inj at a BSFC of .60 .60 is something Id expect to see in a blown motor, not an NA motor though.
Arent they usually .47-.53 BSFC?
What measured BSFC readings have you measured on these motors NA?
Blower motors need a LOT of injector because BSFC is usually higher then a NA motor, that and your fueling the power made in the cylinder, but good portion of that never shows up in rearwheel hp because the blower consumes so much

see i dont wanna dump a lot more money into injectors and i really am concerned about tuning since i will be doing it my self with hp tuners. would 36 or 37 suffice? i see those ones at EAD are cheap for the 36# they are 169.95 and i like that a lot better. what do you guys think about that? and what do you think about having to tune that?

also i sent an email to racetronix about considering gettin just a fuel pump. i would hate to lose out on some money since i already have the wiring kit. i could send it back for a restocking fee but im in college and on a tight budget for this head and cam project. i want to do it all right but every dollar i can save helps out tons!!!

that sounds like that would get me more info however this thread has gotten me more information than the 4 or 5 threads i started specific to my question. from what that site shows, 36's would be fine. and racetronix did reply to my emails but my account didnt get them until late today. i already started a post about tuning and got that figured out
