The fargon installation was done right the plug was wrong!!

And another time you mentioned it.

This is not the firewall. This is the back of the car. It was the only place the thing plugs into. It wasnt rocket science just a wrong plug.

Either way, nothing goes there. Only on top of the tank.

There is only one plug with the harness and it only goes in one spot. It was the wrong plug. I'm done, if you cant understand argue with yourself some more.

I think the problem is YOU don't understand. The harness only plugs into the plugs on the top of the tank. No where else.

It doesn't plug into the back wall. What part don't you understand?

I just installed mine so I know how it goes.

Do you have a plastic tank? Its a different kit. The plug was wrong. The plug was meant to go somewhere and where it was meant to go it didnt fit because it was wrong. I cant make it anymore clearer than that. The 99 pnp harness for the plastic tank was a new product when I bought it as well, maybe it was packaged wrong at the factory?!? There are two different kits for a plastic tank and the metal tank. No one will say that though. I'll wait for your answer Ed .. metal or plastic? 99's had both in them

I have a plastic tank just like you. I even have a 99.

I still don't understand where you tried to plug it in. You never exactly say where. On the back wall or top of the tank?? I am assuming you tried to plug it into the back wall.

did your cable come with a weatherpak plug on it? Where the weatherpak plugs into is what I'm talking about. There's only one. The cable was meant to work and run in one direction, it wasnt the mechanic not knowing what he was doing it was a wrong plug on the end of the cable. How can I make it any more clearer? The thing plugs together, it's PNP if the plug ends match. The pictures on the website and the instructions were all the same except the plug on the end of the cable was incorrect. Yours obviously wasnt.

Now it makes more sense. If you never referred to the back wall it would have made more sense sooner. I thought you were trying to plug it in there.

Is it possible they sent you the 98 version?

Well....My harness at the top of the pump had the wiring backwards, so racetronix is human and do makes mistakes. So far they seem to be batting about 70%. Then again, the majority of people only post when something is wrong.
