Default Anyone ever seen this??

well me and my friend were in my car heading out to go fishing and we pulled into this little gas station to get gas and some other stuff, and to my suprise they had 93 octane and while i was fillin up I looked over and and independence pump sitting there on its own. And look at the octane and it says 110 octane , anyone ever see 110 at a gas station before?? i know they have it at the tracks but this wasnt close to any track around here.

Your car would probably run worse with 110 unless it was tuned for it. Most fuel at that rating is leaded as well, which will kill your o2's. Then again it could of been unleaded.

you will run better with a normal octane unless you are on boost or n2o

I have a DIRT Modified, and we run 112 in it. Here in NY its almost $8.00 a gallon. Luckily we have a good sponsor so we dont have to pay for it. On saturday alone all the cars in out team went through 75 gallons of 112, and we race fri, sat, and sunday and anywhere between 50-75 gallons a night is normal. Figure 75 gal. X 3 nights of racing = 225 gallons X $8.00 = $1800 in gas for the weekend

havent used it in the car yet but in the 450r honda 4wheeler big difference also in the streetbike and the smell of burning 110 is the best, also just becareful with the 100 octane we have some of that here local and it is called AV Gas and it will run alot worse due to the fact it doesnt have the chemicals that 110 has and will cause the motor to run much hotter than normal

airports have it, we used to fill up containers and go to the track, its used to be a little cheaper than at the strip.
