I have a 2000 LS1 (26lb injectors for this year). I'm currently running a 224 cam with an ls6 intake and all the bolt ons. I'll be installing the PRC CNC ls6 heads soon. I'm getting the car retuned for the heads. Do I need bigger injectors? Not sure if I should go for the SVO 30lb or just get a set of 28.8lb because they are cheap and easy to find. Is it even necessary?

Im running a very similar setup. Last week i installed my Cnc Ls6 heads with a fast90/90 setup. I was told by my tuner that the stock 28.8 injectors would work fine with that small of a cam,im running a tr224. I fell into some sv0 30lbs injectors for
$150 so i went ahead and bought them. My advise would be to get the svo injectors and forget about it. You could get away with the stock 28.8 but you might be well over a 80% duty cycle which will make those injectors wear alot quicker. Also where at in Chicago are you, Im downtown and there are no other f-body down here.
