No...I am listening, that is where the idea to step up to 60lbers came from in the first place. That is why I am now inquiring. I think the difference between the "heavy hitters" and me, however, is that these guys are hardcore and always push the limits. It is obvious in their cars. They want extreemly high horsepower and I am content at the safer levels. I am just concerned about the limited tuning access that I have where I live right now. Sure a 60 can be made to be driveable on low boost(thanks for the info, by the way, guys), but it takes some good fuel mapping...I dont have access to that here. I am extreemly limited in Utard. Just concerns with the 60's.

how about math and physics instead:
a 8 cyl 5.7L engine running 5psi to 6000rpm will consume about 40lb/hr of fuel @ 11.5AFR, which is 100% duty cycle. since you dont want to run your injectors past 80% duty cycle, you will need about 50lb/hr injectors. svo 42s at stock ls1 fuel pressure flow 48.5lb/hr so it's doable.

however, this is the upper limit of 42s on boost. let's say you wanna run 6700rpm and 8 psi: you will consume 51.4lb/hr of fuel at 100% duty cycle, which forces you to run 64lb/hr injectors to run at 80%. mototrons 60s flow about 69lb/hr on stock ls1 fuel pressure making them the injector of choice for small boost application.
