Default 450rwhp what size injectors?

Will my stock '02 injectors hold up to 450rwhp NA? I plan on spraying down the road, but it will be a wet direct port kit. What is the cut off on stock injectors before the are maxed out? What size should I run if I need to change?

I can tell you that my Z06 is at that hp level already and the stock injectors are at 105%. I think some 32 lb injectors would be a safer choice.

go with some 42's it gives you a little bit of breathing room for more mods.

Any reccomendations on injectors?

With a stout 450 hp get some MSD/Holley 50's or Motron 60's! They are a better injector compared to the disc style 42.5 009's! And of course see if your tuner can tune for them first! But I say go big and tune! Both of these injectors perform really well at low duty cycle.

I have the Racetronic 42 lbers, they are way more than I need on motor, but I got them to have room for the dry shot.

SVO 42# injectors here and currently 500+ HP NA. My tuner told me they are one of the easiest injectors to tune with.

Go straight to 60s because you never know what the future might bring.

Im running almost the same numbers with the same size injectors. I think a lot of people go way too big with injectors. I understand getting 42's if you are planning more modds or a dry shot of N2O. Also I believe that the SVO injectors are rated at a lower fuel psi than we use on our LSX vehicles so a SVO 30# injector is actually equivalent to a 32or 34 # injector on our cars.

A few others have said it....42's. Go too big and you have idle issues.

My GN has 72#'rs. Very very hard to get them to idle well on a batch fire DFI.

If you are at 450 whp , go #42's or at least #30's . #30's will max before 500 whp so at least with the #42's you will have some room . Lucas and SVO are the same to tune with , I have never noticed a difference in the LS1 on these at this flowrate .

Go with 42Lb'ers. They are cheap, work well, and can supply fuel for a lot of power.

Who has the best deal on a set of 42# quality injectors? I read some bad stuff about the racetronix disc style, should I avoid them?

Are these any good? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/8-Bos...QQcmdZViewItem

I got my 60's idling good but I think that they are causing a very annoying surge in the 1800-2200 RPM at 3-6% Throttle position. I am trying to find someone to swap them for some 42 SVO's. Unless you are gonna go FI or a huge dryshot, you will not likely ever have a need for 60's.
